Where ALIENS Land

I wrote this up in about five minutes this morning:

When the creature arrived, it's eyes glowing, the girls were afraid.

It trembled and shivered against a wall, alone, helpless and cold.

The girls ran, screaming.


When the girls ran away, the boys came with sticks.

They killed it.


And so it happened again and again, a wayward Traveller visiting the OutBack and getting LostInHell.



Until, one day on PlanetY, a HUMAN met an ALIEN and overcame fear.

The ALIEN was thankful for the blankets and nourishment the HUMAN offered.

So, a 'successful' interaction at long last. A FIRST.


"Is that a 'she' and that a 'he' and that an 'it?'" asked the ALIEN of the HUMAN while pointing at two other HUMANS of differing gender strolling with a tiny HUMAN. "And does that mean a UNIT of 'she/he/it' is called, 'shit?'"

The Nurturer tried to answer but was OFFENDED and picked up a stick.

Terrorized, the ALIEN vanished.
